V-Day, D-Day
I've got 24 hours (well, maybe a little less) to while away and I'm not sure what I'll do with the time. Honestly, I should be doing laundry or catching up on sleep. But given free time, I walk around.
Turns out that's the preferred thing to do among Manhattan Users Guide readers as well. (Answer the poll to see the results.)
This weekend, I realized despite being here for more than a year, I still don't know the city that well. So I took a train to Bleeker Street and began to walk. Eventually I found myself at the Washington Square Diner. You'd think a diner would be cheap, but not this place. I scuttled off after a $12 breakfast in the afternoon.
I've gotten used to the idea that cheap food in a sit-down restaurant is a difficult thing to find.
